The Advisory Unit: Computers in Education

The Advisory Unit provides advice and training in the use of ICT to support pupils who have severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

We help teachers make decisions about suitable ICT provision for their schools, for instance, by undertaking an ICT audit with a written report.

We provide on-site ICT Inset days for creating resources using a particular program such as Concept Plus, PowerPoint or Communicate in Print or on using interactive whiteboards, switches or digital video. We can tailor the day to meet your needs.

Special schools consultancy
