Riverside Explorer

Client: The Environment Agency
Based on the Environment Agency’s River Habitat Survey of 4,500 sites, The Advisory Unit prepared a bespoke GIS and data search system with special interactive scenarios and curriculum materials about the habitat and physical geography of rivers for Science and Geography at KS2 and KS3. FITS (Framework for IT Systems) feasibility study

Chiltern Chalk Streams CD

Client: Chilterns Conservation Board
A free guide for schools on the history, water regime, management and wildlife of the unique habitat and environment of chalk streams in the Chiltern area of Berks, Bucks and Beds for KS2 and KS3. http://www.chilternsaonb.org/conservation_board.html

Key Stage 3 ICT pilot

Client: Becta/QCA
The Advisory Unit developed draft lesson plans and support materials for the first stage of the KS3 ICT strategy and carried out training for Local Authority staff in the pilot phase.

Online digital Ordnance Survey mapping system

Client: Hertfordshire CC
The Advisory Unit developed access to large scale Ordnance Survey digital maps on the Herts Grid for primary and secondary schools.

Audit of ICT provision and delivery in secondary schools

Client: LB Bromley
A complete audit of ICT infrastructure, support, development and curriculum all the secondary schools in the London Borough of Bromley.

NOF training for teachers

Client: Granada Learning
The Advisory Unit delivered ICT training to teachers in 43 schools as part of the Granada Learning training scheme for government.
