Aegis Tutorial

Experienced tutors deliver in-school training for department staff.

Choose the GIS topics for classwork, fieldwork and controlled assessment.

 

The sessions have the following aims to:

  • Familiarise teachers with basic and advanced GIS skills.
  • Use AEGIS to prepare materials for KS3, GCSE and A level students.
  • Plan AEGIS lessons for:
    Classroom investigations on key topics.
    Urban and rural fieldwork tasks.
    Controlled Assessments.
  • Understand where to obtain digital maps and data and how to apply them in AEGIS.
