Goad and ECW module for AEGIS
For detailed town plans and online mapping
Goad plans
Goad plans are detailed town centre and retail park maps derived from the Ordnance Survey that come complete with databases of building functions.
They are ideal for making urban land use maps in AEGIS as pupils can display the functions of buildings and search the data to show evidence of clustering of different land use types.
The maps also provide the basis for urban fieldwork including land use, pedestrian counts and traffic surveys. The Advisory Unit is the only supplier of over 1,000 Goad plans in Britain and Ireland for the schools’ market.

ECW maps and images
ECW files are very large detailed aerial photographs or maps, stored on disk or streamed directly online.
ECW stands for ER Mapper’s Enhanced Wavelet Compression and we provide a free compressor to convert any image/map into this format.
This module is an addition to AEGIS 3.
